The Perla is a low profile flush mount ceiling light with a pearl finish diffuser. The diffuser spreads light across its full face, so the fixture reads as one even glow on the ceiling rather than a single bright point, and light reaches the floor without hard shadows.
Because it sits close to the ceiling, the Perla stays clear of doorways, stair landings and wardrobe doors where a hanging pendant would get in the way. The 14 inch size suits a bedroom or mid sized hallway, the 11 inch size a smaller bedroom or landing, and the 5 inch size a closet, porch or compact entry.
The base is painted metal, and the shade seats against it on a closed rim that keeps dust and insects out of the diffuser. The fixture mounts to a standard ceiling junction box, and routine care is a wipe with a dry cloth.
