The Solera is a pendant light with a layered shade that holds the light source inside and releases a warm, diffused glow. Hung over a dining table, it lights the table surface without putting a bright point in the line of sight of anyone seated.
The silhouette follows Bauhaus principles: a circle, a stem and no added ornament. That simple form works in Scandinavian kitchens, traditional living rooms and most styles in between, and it still looks deliberate when switched off.
Three sizes are available. The 11.8 inch size works on its own over a dining table or island, while the 6.3 and 7.9 inch sizes can hang in pairs or rows along an island or singly beside a bed. The drop is adjustable at installation, lower over a table or higher where people walk underneath.
